About MeI am a Mom of two boys (5 & 7), wife to Pat for over 10 years, and an investment research professional for 17 years. My husband and I both went to high school in this area and we relocated to Wrentham from Norfolk five years ago because we both love this town and want our children to grow up here with their cousins. I am not one to enjoy being in any spotlight, but I feel strongly about prioritizing education and putting children’s needs first.

Community Service ExperienceI have always had a strong desire to give back to my community and have served my community in various ways over the past 15 years. A few examples include helping to run an after-school program for elementary - aged children through the Junior League of Boston, organizing a work event at the nonprofit Birthday Wishes, calligraphing handmade Christmas cards for the nonprofit Christmas in the City, meal trains, volunteer at Delaney school for various events and serve in the Kids Ministry at my local church by assisting in teaching programs for PreK and K-2 aged children. My husband has coached several seasons of youth sports and I will be coaching soccer in the spring.

Professional ExperienceI have a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and earned several financial designations. I began my career in investment management, making hedge fund investment recommendations to nonprofit organizations, and for the past nearly 9 years I have been providing technology market research to Wall Street.I will bring valuable experience to this role. I’ve had to make difficult business decisions related to personnel, performance, budgets, asset allocation, and conflict resolution. I am also experienced in relationship building, public speaking, and facilitating collaboration across large groups of people.

In my free time, I enjoy being active with my family and golden retriever Bonnie. I’m an avid reader and believe strongly in increasing the literary rates in our local community and beyond.
